Powering the T95Z TV Box inside is an Amlogic S912 octa-core ARM Cortex A53 processor with a processing speed of up to 2.0GHz. This is assisted by an ARM Mali-820MP3 GPU with a speed of up to 750MHz which is a decent configuration and can play virtually anything thrown at it.The T95Z Plus TV Box also comes with a 2GB DDR3 RAM capacity which will ensure smooth multi-tasking, though I find it strange that people would want to multi-task on a TV (who does that?!).
A rather typical eMMC 16GB Flash is present on board for storage and there is provision for SD card extension up to 32GB, which to me is poor considering the fact that we have ultra-big file sizes for 1080p movies. So one stands to wonder how many movies we can fit on it.
If you had plans of downloading several episodes of your favorite TV show in HD and binge watch over the weekend, well you might have to rethink on that. It also has 4K ability which means it can handle H.265 video decoding and can play full HD (1080p) files.
